Role purpose:

Undergoing rapid expansion, our client is looking for a Senior Charter Sales Executive to join its dynamic charter team based in the London area. You will be responsible for growing our business, bringing new customers onto its award-winning platform while also managing relationships with existing customers and coordinating new charter requests – always ensuring the fastest response to time-critical cargo enquiries.
 
The ideal candidate is someone with a real passion for innovation and a desire to bring air cargo into the 21st century using the power of our patent pending technology! This is a varied role that will require you to adapt quickly and think on your feet in an often fast paced but collaborative environment. From the outset, the role will offer an increasing level of responsibility and the opportunity for travel.

 

​Responsibilities:

Account Management

With an exceptional client growth rate, you will be responsible for managing charter requests and delivering the best customer experience possible for forwarders and airlines through our new global platform.
 

Customer Support

Provide ongoing support both during initial charter request and active flights. As a 24-hour business you will need to be prepared to be on-call to support customers and the team whenever required. This involves checking aircraft suitability, weather, airport suitability, crew hours, required documentation, cargo restrictions.


New Business Development

Through both internal and external leads, you will be expected to further develop client relationships with new freight forwarders and airline operators.

 

International Sales

Meet with new forwarders and airlines globally to introduce and demonstrate what CharterSync can add to their company.

Who you are:

  • Minimum 2 years experience within the air charter sector and a good understanding of cargo aircraft operations [Preferable]

  • Keen interest in innovative technology [Essential]

  • Strong interpersonal skills and sales-oriented approach to new business development [Essential]

  • Professional telephone manner with an ability to communicate effectively [Essential]

  • Good existing network of contacts within the charter industry [Preferable]

  • Experience within the logistics or freight sector [Preferable]

  • Understanding or experience of flight planning, flight time limitations, and weather charts [Preferable]

  • Ambitious

  • Driven

  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team but also work independently

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Confidence in developing relationships with clients and suppliers

  • Highly organised and capable of managing multiple work streams at a given time

  • Ability to manage client expectations

  • Ability to listen to and clearly articulate client feedback

  • Interest in aviation and technology

  • Interest or experience in managing others as the team grows
