The role:

Our client operates a large fleet of business jets. It's vision is to make business aviation simple and deliver the ultimate flight experience around the globe.

 

We are looking for an ambitious individual to play a key role in the operations of our client to support and serve as a confidant to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) across a range of operational projects.

 

With exposure to the whole business, your role will be to identify and solve problems, and deliver on projects to all levels, including the company's executive committee.

Responsibilities:

​

Acting as a representative to the COO, your responsibilities will include:

 

• Participating in strategic initiatives by leading a portfolio of operations projects across the group and reporting results back to the COO and/or executive committee;

• Attending meetings and travel as needed on behalf of COO;

• Building productive relationships and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure smooth completion of operational initiatives;

• Organising, and gathering information from various departments, meetings, and reporting that information, along with recommendations, to executive members;

• Execute directives issued by the COO ensuring any required action is monitored and carried out as per the stipulated deadlines;

• Dealing with ad hoc projects and requests directed by the COO.

Qualifications:​

​

• Experience leading and planning operational strategic initiatives

• Equipped to deal with ambiguity when executing projects

• Adaptable and versatile

• Ability to connect and communicate with people at all levels of hierarchy

• Both commercial and operational mindset

• Credible and critical thinking

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• Experience using, and presenting via Excel and Powerpoint

• Aviation Experience beneficial but not mandatory
