menksa are working on behalf of our client, one of Europe’s leading charter airlines to find a Key Account Director responsible for managing the day-to-day relationship with a key client.
The ideal candidate will liaise with all internal departments to ensure effective communications, service planning and operational execution for the client to the highest standard. Managing the ground arrangements, service planning and operational execution for each client’s trip to ensure complete client satisfaction. You'll also oversee and supervise VIP Trips and client visits.
Role purpose
The Key Account Director reports directly into the Commercial Director and is specially responsible for:
• Working closely with the Commercial Director managing the day to day relationship between the comapny and the client at all levels on operational and commercial matters.
• Liaison with all internal departments to ensure effective communications, service planning and operational execution for the client to the highest standard.
• Managing the ground arrangements, service planning and operational execution for each client’s trip to ensure complete client satisfaction.
• Assist with pricing, building and assessing future trips for operational robustness in conjunction with client demands
• Work with each internal department (Flight ops, Operations, Commercial, Finance and Engineering) to ensure trip requirements are communicated in advance, full briefings are given to key stakeholders in each trip and all questions/challenges are resolved.
• Manage relationships and communication with both internal and external suppliers who support the trips.
• Manage the post flight communications, process any customer feedback, recommend and implement improvements to processes or procedures
• Actively engage with the Risk and Safety department to ensure compliance on all trips.
• Be available as required for the day to day management of service and operational related issues for each trip.
• Travel as required to oversee and supervise VIP Trips and or client visits
• Working as part of the Commercial team to provide support to other VIP clients and trips where workload and time permits outside of the primary client.
Due to the demands of the client a certain amount of working out of hours and overseas travel often at short notice will be required in this role.
