Procurement Manager
Location: West Sussex (3 days in office)

menska is proud to represent our client, a world-leading independent specialist in the global management of commercial and business aircraft spares, supporting airlines, MROs, and OEMs with the supply, exchange, repair, and lease of airframe and engine components.
The role:
As a Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in refining and optimising procurement processes by developing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies. Your responsibilities will include close collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities, skilful contract negotiations, and the development of strong supplier relationships.
Key responsibilities:
Craft and execute visionary sourcing strategies that align with our business objectives.
Identify, assess, and negotiate with prospective suppliers, while expertly managing these vital relationships.
Partner with internal stakeholders to comprehensively understand their unique procurement needs and provide strategic counsel.
Vigilantly analyse market trends and industry best practices, identifying opportunities to drive cost savings.
Exercise vigilant oversight of supplier performance, swiftly implementing corrective measures when necessary.
Maintain a current understanding of industry regulations, ensuring compliance throughout all sourcing endeavours.
Experience:
Procurement experience, specifically evidenced experience of strategically sourcing vendors or suppliers
Displays passion, energy, drive, and agility
Resilience in achieving ambitious targets under difficult circumstances capitalises on lessons learned and responding positively to setbacks
Enjoys analysis of complex and sometimes incomplete information to create easy to communicate solutions
Sets stretched goals for themselves and their suppliers, prepared to take measured risks to gain a competitive advantage
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
CIPS qualifications preferrable
Schedule:
This role is 40 hours per week and eligible for hybrid working – 3 days on site in West Sussex.
