Senior Flight Team Director





Our client is looking for a Senior Flight Team Director/ Client Service Director to join their rapidly growing team.

Experience and Position:

  • Senior Manager with extensive experience in private aviation (preferably both charter and programme)

  • Experience managing a team of 6+ direct reports is a must

  • Client facing experience dealing with HNWIs and Corporate Entities

  • The role would report directly into the Co Founders

Skill set:

  • Detailed knowledge and experience of Private Aviation, Aircraft, Operators, Programme Providers, FBOs etc

  • Exemplary people management skills – must have the ability to incentivise a remote working team whilst able to deliver difficult messages and impart constructive feedback. Experience of dealing with HR.

  • Must be structured, organised, efficient with a meticulous eye for detail - demonstrable experience of designing and implementing processes and systems.


The role would include (but not be limited to) the following:

  • Managing a team of 6 flight managers – running all aspects of the day-to-day business (including team meetings, off-sites, training, quarterly reviews etc)

  • Flight Management – fact checking (deep understanding of aircraft operations), crisis management, training and monitoring

  • Client Management – responding to complex questions, crisis management, overseeing all interactions between the team and the company's 70+ clients

  • Operator Management – Liaising with Operators, FBOs etc

  • Finance - Overseeing invoice processing (and client account reconciliation), proficient in Excel and analysis

  • Management of all internal systems and processes (inc. CRM tools)

The role is home office based with travel to team members in Portugal, UK and Malta on a regular basis. As a senior role, hours will vary according to client (and business) needs and will include some cover out of hours and weekends.
