The role:

Do you have experience working within a MICE agency or Airline OPS, or have you been a handling agent? Do you have vocational training and/or a degree in aviation, tourism or in the evens sector, along with strong written and verbal German and English language skills? Our client offers its customers individual flight solutions. In 20 offices worldwide, 500 experts organize groups on scheduled flights, charter flights with commercial jets, private jets and cargo aircraft every day.

For more than 60 years, our customer has been entrusted, by their clients, with their flights for incentives, events, congresses, tour operators, music, sporting events, cargo and rescue operations, among other things.
Our customer is looking for a Service PLUS Coordinator to join the Group Charter department in Cologne. This is a full time, permanent position.

Role purpose:
​
To support the aircraft charter broking teams in all aspects of flight logistics and ensuring a seamless service is provided for every flight. This will entail occasional work as a departure representative and flight rider.

Provide seamless customer service to clients, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded

Serve as a departure / arrival representative or flight rider, as required

Prepare detailed briefs for clients with all relevant flight information

Distribute post flight surveys following every flight and quickly respond to any service issues

Promote and sell ServicePLUS flight enhancements; ensure any additional sales are invoiced and paid in a timely manner

Where applicable, cross sell services

Liaise closely and develop a strong working relationship with Operations

Update company CRM with relevant information regarding suppliers and customers

Offer the best possible customer service

Building successful, long-term relationships with both clients, suppliers and operators

Managing and prioritising workload, particularly during busy periods

What you'll be doing:

Planning, coordinating and handling charter flights in the Group Charter area

Supporting projects from start to finish (this can involve travel)

Liaising and coordinating with other departments
​
What we are looking for:
​
-
MICE agency, Airline OPS, or handling agent experience
-
Vocational training and/or a degree in aviation, tourism or in the event area
-
Excellent written and verbal German and English language skills -other language skills are also a huge advantage
-
Experience in aviation, tourism and / or event management
-
A passion for optimal customer service

Very good assertiveness and resilience
-
An independent, structured and responsible way of working

A confident demeanour towards customers and airlines

Good experience using MS Office
-
Living a commutable distance from our Cologne office

An ability and willingness to travel occasionally
