Ground Operations Supervisor/Manager

A well-established ground handling provider is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join their leadership team at a major European airport.

This is a hands-on operations role that combines supervision, logistics, and staff coordination across areas such as ramp supervision, load control, warehouse oversight, and ULD management. The company has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services to a range of international airlines and is seeking someone who shares their commitment to operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• At least 5 years’ experience in aviation or cargo handling, ideally with team leadership exposure

• Familiarity with ramp and cargo processes, including handling of special cargo

• Experience in both manual and digital weight and balance processes; qualifications in widebody or freighter aircraft handling are a strong advantage

• Valid EU or German driving licence (Class B) and a clean criminal record

• Fluent in both German and English, with strong interpersonal skills

• Confident working in a team-focused, shift-based environment (including some weekends)

• Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Office and SharePoint
