Role overview:
This is not a “Head of Ops” in disguise. This is the nerve centre.
You’ll own the flight desk. Not just oversee it, but shape how it performs under pressure, at scale, and in real time.
Lead and evolve a team of Flight Managers, building a culture of ownership and accountability
Maintain full visibility across all live operations, quotes, flights, bookings, comms
Step into high-risk, high-pressure situations without breaking the rhythm of the team
Create structure where others create noise. Clear workflows, clean handovers, zero gaps
Act as the senior escalation point for complex client scenarios
Partner closely with leadership on performance, KPIs and growth strategy
Translate operational reality into commercial insight
This role sits right between people, process, and performance. Get it right, everything scales.
About you:
You’re not just experienced. You’ve seen the chaos and learned how to control it.
You’re the person people look to when things get tight, because you see things clearly.
10+ years in private aviation (charter, fractional, jet cards or aircraft management)
5+ years leading teams with real accountability, not just titles
Managed teams of 8+ and scaled them, not just maintained them
Comfortable operating in live environments where decisions actually matter
Experienced dealing directly with HNW and corporate clients
Commercially aware. You understand margin, performance, and where the levers are
Strong with KPIs, reporting, and turning data into action
Known for building teams that run without constant intervention
