Client
Our client is an established aviation business with a strong commercial platform and ambitious growth plans, operating in a fast-moving, international environment.




Role overview:

Senior commercial leadership role responsible for driving new revenue, reactivating dormant accounts and expanding spend across existing customers through a blend of sales, marketing and relationship-led business development.


Key responsibilities:


  • Own and deliver the sales and marketing strategy, including budget ownership and ROI

  • Present a 12-month commercial and marketing plan to the Board annually

  • Generate new enquiries and expand presence in new and existing markets

  • Build and grow relationships with prospective, dormant and sub-£1m accounts

  • Represent the business at key industry events and trade shows

  • Manage key customer contracts to ensure exceptional service delivery

  • Gather customer insight through direct engagement, including flight rides

  • Feed market intelligence and product opportunities back to the Executive team

  • Support charter activity when required

  • Produce clear monthly reporting on pipeline, opportunities and market feedback



We're looking for someone who has:

  • Proven background in senior business development or commercial leadership

  • Strong track record of revenue growth through relationship-led sales

  • Comfortable owning strategy as well as execution

  • Commercially astute, credible and confident at Board level

  • Enjoys being out in the market, meeting customers and representing a brand

  • Highly organised, proactive and results-driven



Working style:

This role is designed for someone who thrives on being in the market. Travel, industry events and time with customers are a core part of the opportunity, offering real exposure, influence and variety. Remote working is supported, with some office presence expected by agreement.
