Vice President, Sales

Location: Remote, Chicago
Salary: Negotiable - $150,000 OTE

Our client is a dynamic, exciting and fast-growing global company. They truly are a market leader, possessing an amazing brand with an inspirational leader. We are looking for someone who has 7+ sales experience, preferably with private aviation experience. You'll be highly analytical and detail-oriented; able to make data-driven decisions. You'll have the ability to pivot in a constantly changing environment, navigating ambiguity and fast changes.


The role:

The Vice President, Sales is a critical role responsible for driving new membership sales and revenue growth for the organisation. This individual will spearhead efforts to create demand and identify opportunities for revenue generation, while embodying the highest levels of sales professionalism and resiliency in support of the company's mission to be the trusted advisor and service provider of choice in the industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing client accounts, building strong relationships with clients, peers, and operating partners

  • Generate new revenue and memberships through referrals and prospecting efforts

  • Identify and capitalise on opportunities for revenue and incremental profit

  • Provide membership and trip options to clients, offering trusted advice

  • Oversee the overall client experience and collaborate with Account Management for a seamless experience

  • Escalate client service disruptions to Leadership as necessary

  • Maintain a minimum of $10m TTM revenue and sell two deposits per month

  • Achieve 90% Primary Revenue (revenue retention)

  • Understand customer trip needs and articulate options to best suit individual requirements

  • Ensure operators meet quality assurance standards for exceptional customer service

  • Manage contracts and negotiations

  • Prepare and present sales proposals and materials

  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets

  • Serve as a trusted peer, mentor, and coach

  • Act as a brand leader and ambassador of the company's culture

  • Communicate effectively with leadership regarding pipelines and client retention

  • Collaborate across the organisation, demonstrating effective communication and teamwork


Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of sales experience, with private aviation experience being desirable

  • Fluent written and spoken English

  • Outstanding service and customer-oriented behaviour

  • Ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a team

  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience working in the region

  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and ambitious
