The role:


As a Charter Executive, you'll be responsible for driving commercial growth and ensuring the smooth delivery of cargo charter operations. This role involves managing charter enquiries, supporting client relationships, coordinating bookings, and overseeing the end-to-end execution of cargo flights. It requires a proactive, client-focused individual with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in aviation logistics.

Location:

West London area - 4 days in office / 1 remote day


Responsibilities:

Charter Sales & Support:

  • Assist in managing charter sales processes, including enquiry handling, quotations, and contract follow-ups.

  • Support in identifying potential clients and market opportunities.

  • Work closely with the Charter Team to execute commercial strategies and achieve sales targets.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pricing, capacity, and available aircraft options.


Client & Relationship Management:

  • Act as a point of contact for clients, ensuring timely responses to requests and providing a high standard of customer service.

  • Build rapport with brokers, freight forwarders, and clients to support long-term relationships.

  • Support customer retention and follow-up activities post-flight.


Operational Coordination:

  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely charter execution.

  • Assist in preparing contracts, flight briefs, and operational documentation.

  • Monitor flight performance and report on outcomes, service levels, and client satisfaction.


Administration & Compliance:

  • Ensure accurate data entry and documentation related to charter bookings.

  • Support compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.

  • Maintain internal records, CRM updates, and performance tracking.


Skills and Experience:


  • 1-2 years of experience in air cargo charter, freight forwarding, or a related logistics/sales role.

  • Understanding of charter operations and aircraft types (widebody experience is a plus).

  • Experience with client communication, quotations, and contract handling.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
