About the role:
As an experienced broker, you’ll be responsible for managing the full sales and operations cycle of cargo charter, freight forwarding, and time-critical logistics movements, while building strong relationships with both clients and service providers.
Duties and responsibilities:
Build and manage a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities using a mix of outreach methods including phone, email, networking, and travel.
Maintain accurate CRM records with up-to-date client and prospect information.
Develop new commercial opportunities across industries and regions.
Deliver tailored solutions for air cargo, including charter, airfreight, and onboard courier services.
Coordinate all operational requirements from initial enquiry through to completion, including liaising with handling agents and suppliers.
Review carrier documentation and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards (full training provided).
Monitor live operations, ensuring smooth execution, timely updates, and effective issue resolution.
Follow company sales processes and participate in structured outreach activities.
Represent the business at meetings, client visits, and industry events internationally.
Support and mentor junior brokers, contributing to knowledge sharing and team development.
Take part in internal projects and company-wide initiatives as required.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar air cargo brokerage or freight role.
Passion for aviation and logistics.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong communicator, calm under pressure, and highly solution-oriented.
Flexible attitude toward working hours — some weekend or out-of-hours work may be required depending on flight schedules.
Strong collaboration skills within a local and international team.
Willingness to adapt, grow, and take on new challenges.
Additional language skills a bonus, but not essential.
